DESCRIPTION:This virtual acting class for life-long-learners is designed to unlock your potential as a storyteller through a down-to-earth\, accessible approach to acting. Led by professional actor\, stage manager\, and educator Bill Munoz\, this class celebrates each student's unique perspective and invites them to bring that wealth of life experience to the characters they portray. Through engaging acting activities and discussions\, students will explore theatrical text within a supportive and low-pressure environment. Whether you're just building your actor toolbox or revisiting the craft after many years\, this course will ignite your creativity\, inspire you to live in-the-moment\, and invite you to reconnect with your sense of play and curiosity. No previous acting experience required.\n\nJanuary 28 - March 25\n\nThursdays from 6:45 - 7:45 PM EST\n\nAge: Adult (18+)\n\nVirtual Platform: Zoom\n\nInstructor: Bill Mu oz\n\nTuition: $175*\n\nSupplies Needed: A stable internet connection and a journal for notes\, reflections\, and musings.\n\nStudio 52 is supported by Walnut Cove Members Association and Eaton Corporation. This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council\, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. www.NCArts.org\n\n*Payment options\n\nTuition payments can be completed in full online.\n\nPartial payments may be made over the phone by calling the Box Office at (828) 693-0731 or in person Monday through Thursday  from 10AM - 5PM. A $50 deposit is required to secure a student's spot in the class. Full payment must be completed halfway through the semester.\n\n?Students and families that register for more than one class are offered a $25 discount for each additional class. This offer applies to multiple classes for one student or family discounts for siblings.
